Hate Trump? You’re not alone

April 29th marks Trump’s 100th day in office as well as the lowest approval rating of any president in the past 80 years.

Trump’s popularity has been on a steady decline since he took office. Despite his many failings during his first 100 days, Trump can now proudly claim one victory – he holds the two lowest approval ratings of any president in their first 100 days.

According to a new NPR/PBS News/Marist poll, twice as many people said President Trump deserves a grade of F rather than an A for how he's handled his first 100 days in office.

Only 39% of those polled approve of his handling of the economy, and only 36% have a favorable opinion of the reckless, essential job slashing DOGE. A strong majority say Trump bears responsibility for our current economic situation and 53% disapprove of how Trump is handling all aspects of the presidency. 

Most damningly, 61% of those polled said Trump is rushing to make changes and 85% said Trump needs to follow court order.

These two indictments in particular reveal the nation’s continued support for the institutions which underpin our liberties.

With no sign of slowing down his unconstitutional power grabs, it is important that we remember that we are not alone. Some of us are more surrounded than others by those who have been brainwashed by MAGA.

If you look out though, you’ll see sanity still prevails in the country and that the people see Trump for the charlatan that he is.
